Shima Hamidi

MRC Alumni

Shima Hamidi is a graduate (2015) of the Metropolitan Planning, Policy, and Design PhD Program at the University of Utah.  After graduating Shima was hired as an Assistant Professor in the University of Texas at Arlington’s College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs.  While at the University of Utah Shima worked very heavily with Dr. Reid Ewing on projects such as:  How Affordable is HUD Affordable Housing, The Sprawl Index 2014 Update, and Quantifying Transit’s Impact on GHG Emissions and Energy Use.
