Alexander Barton

Research Assistant

Alexander Barton is a master’s student in the Department of City and Metropolitan Planning. He received a bachelor of geography degree from Brigham Young University, with an emphasis in urban and regional planning and a minor in psychology. While there, Alec directed an update of the general plan for the city of Manti in Central Utah. He has also worked on professional projects in Spanish Fork, Springville and Orem. Alec is passionate about walkable communities and has made an effort to get involved in neighborhood councils wherever he lives.
